Opening of the Pleyel Urban Crossway
05.24 / Projet
Nearly 8 years after the competition, the inauguration of the first phase of the Pleyel Urban Crossing took place on Thursday, May 16, 2024 !
This footbridge crossing the busiest railway hub in Europe connects the two parts of the city of Saint-Denis, and links the new St Denis Pleyel station to the Stade de France - Saint Denis station. This is the first step in the creation of 12,000 m² of public space open to the northern Paris landscape, followed by the delivery of a road bridge connecting avenue François Mitterrand to rue du Docteur Finot in early 2026, before the completion of the project with the construction of a building bridge adjoining the structures, in the longer term.
