The project for Agro Paris Tech on the Saclay plateau had to consider nature as a major component of the design. Here, the eight buildings that make up the campus are organized around a large two-hectare garden in open ground. The Forum, an airy glass structure that serves as a showcase, orangery, learning center, and space for all possibilities, connects the public space to the garden and serves as the starting point for a circulation gallery that connects all the buildings and creates a series of meeting and relaxation areas linked to the plant world.
Throughout this Knowledge Gallery, developed across two levels, teachers, researchers, doctoral candidates, and students will enjoy spaces for conviviality and exchange at the intersection of various buildings, overlooking the garden. Thus, the research buildings, training facilities, and teaching buildings create a spacious urban area where the components remain interconnected to establish links between the different parts of the Campus, the various audiences, and to foster serendipity.
