With the electrification of the RATP bus fleet in mind, this project provides an opportunity to reclaim an area of the 18th arrondissement that was given over to industry for over a century. It entails replacing an existing urban area with a new one, combining components that might be seen as antagonistic in order to allow them to function as part of a single whole. The 25,000 sq.m. programme includes housing, offices, residential facilities and a sports centre, all laid out around a 3,000 sq.m. garden.
