Quai Bercy is part of the ZAC Bercy Charenton development area on land once occupied by the SNCF. This development on the edge of the tracks leading to the Gare de Lyon comprises a logistics and distribution centre, an increasingly familiar feature of daily life that forms the basis for the entire project: a tertiary building, sports facilities, events venues, a residential hotel and an industrial hotel, as well as a large garden covering almost a hectare. The creation of a new urban area and its accompanying infrastructure offers a greater degree of resilience and an opportunity to build the city of tomorrow by hosting an array of different urban logistics services.
